As promised I put together a sample meal plan I prepare for my trips. It includes three meals and three snacks. For more snack ideas check out my other posts for Snacks on the Go under the "What's in my Lunchbox?" tab -> "Snack Ideas". If you have a meal plan you like to follow, let me know! I'd love to hear from you and swap ideas! I hope this helps someone out when needing a plan to start from, because I know starting this career can be challenging in itself letting alone how to pack meals when you're always on the road. All my meals are typically eatin within 2-3 hours of each other if I can help it, and I try to drink half my weight in oz to a gallon of water each day.
Meal 1: Two eggs & 1/2 cup oatmeal with truvia or zero calorie sugar or I like to use some honey and add in blueberries or cinnamon and coconut shavings pictured below (Hard boil the eggs and pack the oatmeal with all your fixings when traveling)
Snack: One grapefruit with truvia (which I've been eating lately) or cantaloupe with Truvia.
Meal 2: Kale or spinach salad with chicken topped with fat free feta cheese or any cheese you like (pictured below I even have used a piece of American cheese) and raspberry vinaigrette dressing and a piece of fruit like an apple
Snack: Cucumbers or peppers with hummus - Sabra is so good with a variety of flavors!
Meal 3: Turkey burger or shrimp with asparagus or some sort of green vegetables
Snack: chobani flip yogurts (so good they taste like desserts)
